We’ve been getting so inundated with applications from artists for shows, we’ve all been feeling a bit rotten to not be able to accommodate everyone, so we wanted to put on a night – potentially a regular one if interest is high within the songwriting family here in London – for people to make some initial contact with the community. A chance for established artists to come and blood some new songs or get back on stage after a hiatus in front of their peers, and any so inclined audience members. And a chance for those coming to a Karousel night for the first time. There’ll be a full sound set up and hosting as at all our gigs, and a real piano on stage for those wishing to tickle the ivories… but these nights are intended to be less formal than the full shows. We’re hoping this is a good way to get more slots to people, and give new friends a chance to come and say hello and meet each other

* Rediscover lost gems and realise they’re better than you thought (hopefully)
* Tuned upright piano onstage
* PA, monitors etc
* Meet fellow artists
* Eat
* Drink
